What have you done with your raw almonds?

Here’s an opportunity to elevate the simple power of almonds, and add some salty/sweet crunch.

Let’s see how easy this one is:
• Roast the almonds for a little bit, until partially roasted.
• While the nuts roast, mix together soy sauce, maple syrup, olive oil, and Sriracha.
• Pour this liquid mix over the partially roasted nuts.
• Roast some more until sticky.
• Salt and pepper the nuts when removed from the oven.

Toasted almonds will always provide a special flavor and a special crunch. And now, we’ve added some soy sauce and some heat. Of course you’ll want more.
